Friday 25th May 2012GAZ BROOKFIELD supported by Luke Potter : 8pmGaz Brookfield’s songs are instantly accessible, everyman tales of life, love and everything else in between. Played in a folk-ish style with occasional use of the guitar as a percussive tool, as well as some two handed venturing around the fret board, Gaz's simple yet poignant song writing captures the imagination of the listener.
"Great songs and solid playing... a talent to watch."
SUPPORTED BY Luke Potter Luke Potter's debut CD release, "Just Pieces of Me", released in July 2011 received very good reviews. In the UK, Music Week said that "Luke's songs are beautiful" while Music News wrote "he's a proper songwriter.....this mini album showcases his delicate vocals alongside accomplished well observed acoustic ballads". In the US, Kool Kat Musik simply said "excellent!". His latest single " We're Alive" was released last month while the video of the song, directed by Ruskin Kyle (who also made Ed Sheeran's "A Team" video) has already had over 500,000 views. A dance remix is due shortly and is being done by Lenny B (responsible for the latest Adele and One Direction dance tracks). Luke has just returned from a trip to the US where he has been doing some co-writes with Nick Howard in New York. http://www.lukepottermusic.com/
