Under the Edge Arts is kindly sponsored by Wotton Electric Picture House, a volunteer-run award-winning digital 3D cinema.  The aim of the cinema is to provide a local, affordable and accessible venue with a warm and friendly environment. In particular they seek to cater for filmgoers who prefer not to go to multiplexes as it offers a smaller and more intimate environment. For example, there are no big advertising presentations before the film, which starts on-time as advertised (with allowances for the few people who arrive late). On occasions free chocolates are offered around before the film starts.  For more information on the cinema, please visit the website:

UTEA has worked with the cinema on joint events and activities, including an animation workshop for children where the resulting (very) short films were shown on the screen in the evening.  We look forward to working together in the future, to sharing knowledge and resources, and to continuing to provide a wide range of arts and entertainment opportunities for the local community.
