Introduction to Qigong
Time & Location
Qigong (pronounced chee-gong!) is moving meditation, similar to TaiChi, it is the integration of breathing practice with mindful movement to allow your body to relax and your mind to settle. We look for the stillness within the movement, the calm centre enhanced by the breath, through a series of time honoured exercises. Qigong is also effective for your physical health, improving flexibility, balance and core strength.
In this workshop you will be introduced to the basic techniques and learn some exercises you can take away into your everyday life.
The workshop will be inclusive, supportive and relaxed. Qigong is suitable for all ages, fitness levels and abilities.
