Nia Dance : 10 - 11am

Nia is functional fitness at its purest. Classes are taken barefoot (footwear is welcome if needed) to eclectic, innovative and inspiring music. Every class offers a unique combination of 52 moves that correspond with the main areas of the body eg the base, core, arms. What makes Nia so innovative is its unlimited adapabilty to include everyone regardless of age and fitness level.
Some "steps" are taken from Jazz, Modern Dance and Duncan Dance and others from Tai Chi, Yoga etc. Gain better posture, balance, strength and flexibility. Reduce stress, anxiety and depression whilst having fun. Beginners welcome at any time.

Jazz Jam Sessions : 8pm

South Cotswolds Jazz Club (SCJC)

SCJC are pleased to announce four 2017 Jazz Jam Sessions led by JJ Shaw & Peter Neale, both have experience of organising the Cleeve/Claverham Jam sessions. Local players John Cook on double bass, Jon Godfrey on drums and Chris Clark on keyboards will provide the house band. All levels will be catered for and details on how we intend to run it to follow.

£20 for the 6 sessions
Jacky Tolfree will be running a series of workshops that will culminate in an explosive local com-munity performance to be shown at the UTEA Christmas Evening on Saturday 2nd December.
As a group, Jacky will use the art centre space to put together a structured performance and a mash of creative ideas resulting in a kaleidoscope of dramatic art to showcase at the UTEA Christmas evening.
Due to working together to make this happen, commitment will be required by the children at-tending.

Writing for Wellbeing : 10-12pm and 1-3pm

With Maggie How


Writing is fun! Come and try your hand at playing with words, maybe for the first time, or as a refresher if you are feeling stuck as a writer. Maggie will offer you lots of ideas and prompts to get you started – no pressure, you don’t have to share your writing, but you may well find you do want to! Please bring your favourite writing implement and paper or notebook.
