Exhibition: Ways of Seeing : 10am - 4pm

The work of four artists. Ian (Spike) Woods, Jo West, John Gough, Edna Parker.

An exhibition by four friends who have and interest in exploring various mediums and techniques. Over the years each has developed their own way of seeing in painting, printmaking, crafting and making.
Ian (Spike) Woods, a mentor to the other three, has an interest in woodcarving and pyrography, but still works in other mediums. He also runs the Life drawing classes in the Chipping Clubroom in Wotton every week.
Jo West, a graphic artist, has been inspired by the Tortworth Chestnut to make dynamic expressionist paintings and prints from its powerful presence.

John Gough has widened his vision from realistic watercolours to experimental abstraction.
Edna Parker is a local artist with an eye for colour and impact, reacting to rhythms and patterns in objects.
This diverse body of work shows a wide-ranging and contemporary involvement in Art.
