Comedy: HARRIET BRAINE : 8pm

Harriet Braine's genre-defying musical comedy act is essentially a light hearted mockery of artists, art history and the art world. She won the Funny Women Stage Award, was a finalist in the So You Think You're Funny? comedy competition in Edinburgh and the Best Newcomer award at the Musical Comedy Awards in London in 2016. She is putting together a show for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival called 'Total Eclipse of the Art’, an hour dedicated to laughing, learning and loudly proclaiming "I knew that one! He's the one what done the Mona Lisa!". Aren't you clever. If you like amusing accents, bizarre characters, a woman making trumpet noises (with her mouth), and 1980s one hit wonders, you'll love this. She is delighted to share this show, plus some exciting new material, with Under the Edge Arts.

"If you like musical comedy with a twist Harriet will have you howling” (, 2017)

"A song from Harriet Braine perfectly articulated our feelings about Tracey Emin: who knew we needed one?” (The Latest, Brighton, 2016)

"Sharp wit" (The Argus, Brighton, 2016)

"A breath of fresh air in a world that still likes a ‘knob’ joke” (Huffington Post, 2016)

"Her songs - about dead artists - were excellent” (Bruce Dessau, 2016)
