Matinee 2.30pm
Evening 7.30pm

This summer Wotton-under-Edge Dramatic Society will be performing a rehearsed reading of Cider with Rosie. The play is adapted from Laurie Lee’s novel, a poetic evocation of his childhood growing up in the early 20th Century in the Slad Valley near Stroud which has become a modern classic worldwide and is here imaginatively adapted for the stage by James Roose-Evans.
Last performed by Wotton Dramatic Society in 1994, this time around the play will be presented as a ‘Rehearsed Reading’ similar to a radio play, with the actors performing the play on a set staged to capture the essence of the play.

Tickets cost £7.50 and are available online at and via the box office at the Morley Green Room in Clarence Road, weekend mornings between 9am-12pm.
