Friday night Fred Talks returns with another three fascinating short talks by invited speakers.
Spend a relaxing evening at the end of the week listening to fascinating speakers on subjects that could include anything except politics, religion and sales pitches!

Full line up to follow.

Professor Diana Harcourt has had to postpone her talk about people affected by an altered appearance but is keen to say she hopes to deliver her talk in the near future. We are very fortunate that Wotton jazz musician and composer Katie Elliott who is host of the Adventures in Behaviour Change Podcast has stepped into the breach at very short notice. With her hugely successful Groove Project and Jazz Cafes there is perhaps no other individual who has contributed more to the creative output of Under the Edge Arts over the years. Katie has been an inspirational speaker at many events in recent years and plans to surprise us with a talk she's never given before!

Pernille Rørth holds a PhD in cell biology and genetics, she has led research laboratories in top institutions in the US, Europe and Singapore, and served as Executive Editor of the European Molecular Biology Organization Journal. She has written three novels about the scientific community.
Her talk is entitled ‘How cells move’. Not too technical, movies included.

David Baird, curator at Wotton Heritage Centre, will talk about historical people with a Wotton connection who left their mark in some way.
