The Blind Justice Page old time music show : 8pm

Performing a rousing selection of old timey and blues songs from the American South for your pleasure.

The Old Time Music Show is the soundtrack of America from Prohibition to the Dustbowl.

The 1920’s were the Roaring Twenties and everything seemed possible. Illegal speakeasies and Juke Joints sprung all over, from Mississippi to Chicago, hotbeds of jazz, blues, old-timey music and Vaudeville. Legends were born - Bessie Smith, Robert Johnson, the Carter family - it seemed like the good times would go on for ever.

In 1929 the bubble burst. Wall Street crashed and Oklahoma turned into a dustbowl. Millions of Americans were on the move, their hopes dreams and hardships recounted by the great Woody Guthrie.

Steve Page aka Blind Justice Page has been a regular at UTEA with his band the Open Secrets, most recently with his show Moonshine & Dust.

Blind Justice page are:

Steve Page (vocals, guitar and banjo)
Kevin Jones (bass, guitar, vocals)
Sally Page (Washboard)
