This month: Philippe Rousseliere is fascinated by words, their derivation and meaning, he will talk about the relationship between the French and English languages, words we have in common and some interesting and often amusing differences.
Local film maker Christina Wheeler records the stories of people’s lives. In 2018 she made ten short films as part of the Gloucestershire Second World War Stories Project. In this talk she reflects on and shares some of the stories of ordinary people in extraordinary times.
Professional stonemason Stephen will give a talk entitled ‘The Stonemasons’ Guild of St. Stephen - The Last 1000 Years’.
