Lorenzo Masotto: Between Silence and Sound

“Between Silence and Sound” is a poetic journey into the musical world of Italian pianist and composer Lorenzo Masotto.

In this special performance, Masotto revisits key pieces from his discography, exploring over a decade of musical research that blends neoclassical, jazz, and alternative influences.

Each composition is a fragment of memory — a reflection suspended between inner and outer landscapes. With deep sensitivity to sound, dynamics, and silence, Masotto invites the audience into an intimate dialogue where the piano becomes a poetic voice.

He studied classical piano and composition at the Conservatorio di Verona, earning a Master’s Degree in Piano Solo Performance, and continued his studies at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar. His path embraces contemporary classical music, jazz improvisation, and the raw energy of experimental rock.
