SKANKt play post-ska rockmusic - what is it? Find out! With songs that are charged with energy and social commentary, SKANKt are the thinking human’s music.

SKANKt formed in 1999 playing support slots for bands such as the Selector, King Prawn and Bad Manners. The band took on headline shows and cemented a place in the thriving UK ska/punk scene of the noughties, playing at some of the UK’s top festivals - back when there only a few each year!

They relocated to Bristol and gigged for a while as Waiting for Kate, but in 2020 they added a new bassist and two more horn players. The now 7-piece has a new identity under the original band name with new tracks flying out of studio!
