About
The Death Café movement took off in this country in 2011 and there have been thousands of death cafes around the world since then. Death Café offers a chance to meet up with others to safely discuss this often taboo and sometimes tricky subject. While death café is not a bereavement support group, it does offer a safe space to talk about death, dying, bereavement and all matters relating to end of life. This is a subject we all have to deal with at some point, whether facing our own death or that of loved ones. At a death café there is no theme, no agenda and never any speakers. There is no attempt to lead anyone to any conclusion; just a chance to chat and listen. People are often surprised to discover that they leave a death café feeling inspired and uplifted!
Due to restrictions, please bring your own hot drink and cake.
