Why not become a volunteer at UTEA?

It is the volunteers who make UTEA what it is.  We are so proud of our volunteer community and feel incredibly lucky to be supported by so many wonderful people. We welcome any new volunteers and would encourage you to contact us.

Look out for our friendly UTEA Volunteer Coffee Mornings where you can come and have a chat with us and sign up to help.  You can work with someone else.  It’s a great way of meeting people and seeing events for free!

Here are just some of the things our volunteers do:-

  • Put up posters around town and further afield

  • Distribute our programmes

  • Work at the bar during events

  • Stand at the door at events

  • Act as“Coordinator” for events to ensure it all goes smoothly

  • Help with the recycling

  • Help with the bar restocking

  • Collect donations at events

  • Set up and clear up the hall before and after events
